Fuel Surcharge

Back in January 2003 SECURED COURIER adopted a new method of calculating its fuel surcharge. This was the same method as our competitors used and is widely accepted in our industry. The new system more accurately reflects fuel prices across Canada. The fuel surcharge will be subject to review at the end of each billing cycle. It is a simple and easy to understand fomula that is based on a widely recognized measurement tool.

The fuel surcharge will be adjusted based upon the average price of regular unleaded gas established by Ervin & Associates, a company that monitors fuel prices across Canada daily.

The fuel surcharge appears on your invoice only. Please call if you have any questions.

The fuel surcharge is currently 14% on all vehicular deliveries.




Please note that there are no fuel surcharges for any deliveries performed by bike or walker or metro pass couriers with our GREENTEAM Courier division.
